The Keusch, Snow, & Del Zorro Collections Come to Baltimore

Join Stack's in Baltimore on November 18th and 19th as they offer
The Keusch, Snow, & Del Zorro Collections for public auction. These three remarkable collections will offer coins, medals and paper money. The auction will be held at the Pier 5 Hotel in the Inner Harbor district of Baltimore and begins at 11:00am in the Harbor East room.
Over thirty lots of colonial coins lead the way, and several significant pieces are up for grabs. The first of these is an outstanding 1652 Massachusetts Pine Tree large Planchet shilling in AU-58 (PCGS) that exhibits sharply defined features and lovely pale toning over softly lustrous surfaces. Immediately following this lot is a choice Small Planchet example, another marvelous AU-58 (PCGS) specimen. Also at the fore of this category is a high grade 1776 Continental Currency dollar in pewter, the variety with the reverse rings partially re-cut from dots to solid lines. Graded AU Details by NCS, the coin actually approaches the Uncirculated category in terms of actual wear.
U.S. half cents and large cents present an extraordinary survey of high quality and super rare pieces, many of them proof issues. An 1813 S-293 graded MS-65 BN by PCGS will be offered as well as the ultra rare 1820 N-6 proof example graded Proof-62 BN by PCGS. The coin is pedigreed to the sale of the Lorin Parmelee collection in June 1890.
All this and much more make this sale a rare opportunity. For more information on this sale, click here to visit the Stack's web site.
